Texting is part of modern communication evolution, and a great way for teens to stay in touch with their friends. Pumpkin carving is a great way to bring family and friends together. Get everyone involved in purchasing the pumpkin, carving the pumpkin and sharing the pumpkin.

Take the kids to a pumpkin patch to find their "perfect pumpkin."
Have them draw or find a picture of what they would like to carve on their pumpkin.
With pleanty of cleaning supplies, and age appropriate carving tools, carve your pumpkins.
Take pictures of your pumpkins.
Put those pictures on your family's PNN.com page and share with your extended family and friends.
