What parents may not see, is their teen, reaching out for contact, for the validation of their ideas, and yes, sometimes for the latest gossip. Texting is part of modern communication evolution, and a great way for teens to stay in touch with their friends. Just like the real world, it is important to know who your teens are texting, while giving them space to discover themselves.
